About the event

As women, we hold a lot. We’re leaders, mothers, daughters, caregivers, friends, and wives or partners. 


We can often see and feel many aspects of our context at once. We are regularly the ones everyone looks to for calm direction and comfort. It can feel like a lot of pressure to hold it all together, which can create internal suffering.


Internal suffering can sound like: 

  • Self-doubt - “I should be doing more.”

  • Guilt - “I let someone down.”

  • Overwhelm - “There’s too much on my plate.”

  • Fear - “If I don’t hold it all together, everything will fall apart.”


The Art of Self-Soothing workshop is a space to slow down and learn new ways to calm our nervous systems. Like scared animals or children, sometimes we too need a little comfort! The kind that only we can provide. Join us to learn the art of self-soothing and how to nurture yourself in a way that calms emotional upsets.


What you’ll experience:

  • Learning one gentle, practical tool to ground yourself when emotions run high.

  • A safe circle of women who can relate and are eager to grow and heal 


You’ll walk away with:

  • More ease and resilience during times of stress

  • A meditation and written guide to practice the exercise on yourself 


Spaces are limited to 12 women.


About Kit

Kit Hayes is a Strategic Coach specializing in emotional management and holistic wellbeing. Her coaching retreats use somatic, emotional, behavioral, and mindset techniques to help clients gain awareness, learn acceptance, and take action. She's trained at the Institute for Coaching Mastery, the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, and as a certified yoga teacher and Pleasure Coach. Before coaching, Kit led the development of YouTube's mental health initiative and led marketing for Google Sustainability and Google.org. She started her career as an impact strategist and product innovation leader at Purpose, Anomaly, and TBWA\CHIAT\DAY. She's passionate about wellbeing as a tool for a new era of inspired, sustainable, and fulfilling productivity and contribution.
