About the event
We’ve all heard the iconic phrase: “Shaken, not stirred.” But what makes James Bond’s martinis so… super? It’s not just what he drinks—it’s how he drinks them.
Local legend Jeff Burkhart—award-winning journalist, nine-time “Best Bartender,” Amazon best-selling author, and host of the Barfly Podcast—will guide you through an interactive cocktail demonstration and spirited storytelling session. You’ll explore the difference between Bond’s famous martinis, including both the medium-dry vodka martini and the classic Vesper—each with a local twist. Jeff will share insights pulled straight from his Barfly columns and books, making this a one-of-a-kind experience for cocktail lovers and Bond fans alike. We'll then settle in with our popcorn and watch the movie Dr. No!
