Program Details: While identity and desires shift with the changes surrounding menopause, some of these shifts are more welcome than others. As a clinician for 35 years, Dr SIX has seen many women and couples facing menopause in a multitude of ways. Some scenarios are universal, others pretty unique. Dr SIX will shed light on the difference between desire and arousal. Some women find that their interest in sex increases while others are happy to let it dwindle, yet they have to navigate being in a relationship with someone who still expects things to remain the same. You’ll hear anonymous stories of how this quandary has been addressed. How to find authenticity and skillfully navigate eroticism (or lack thereof) in relationships will be discussed. Bring your questions. That’s part of the richness of this conversation.
